253 HVACR Techs Terms of Service and Conditions

Effective date: September 1, 2026
Last updated: October 11, 2026

Plain-language terms for working with 253 HVACR Techs. If anything here is unclear, call us and we'll walk you through it.

1. Scope and agreement

These Terms govern use of 253hvac.com, Ask Relay, online booking, and services provided by 253 HVACR Techs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We present these Terms for acceptance when you book or authorize work. Merely visiting the website does not authorize a paid service.

You must be at least 18 and have authority to approve work at the property. A written estimate, work order, or service agreement accepted by both parties controls over conflicting general provisions here. Mandatory legal protections remain in effect.

2. Service requests and authorization

We provide heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration services within the scope agreed for each job. Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not guarantee availability or create a confirmed appointment until we confirm it.

Before beginning chargeable work, we will disclose the applicable scope and charges and obtain your authorization. Inspection or diagnosis does not include repairs unless expressly agreed. Additional work or a material price change requires your approval.

3. Estimates, charges, and payment

Each estimate or work order identifies the proposed work, price or pricing basis, applicable taxes, and payment terms. Estimates depend on accessible equipment and information available at inspection. Hidden damage, inaccessible components, or changed requirements may require a revised proposal.

Diagnostic, travel, after-hours, permit, deposit, or other charges apply only when disclosed and agreed before the charge is incurred. Website promotions are subject to their stated eligibility and expiration terms.

Payment is due upon completion unless different terms are stated in your accepted estimate or service agreement. A deposit may be required depending on the contract terms; its amount and payment deadline will be disclosed before you authorize the work. Stripe and Square process card transactions under their applicable terms. Any deposit, installment arrangement, or late charge must be specified in the agreement and comply with law. We do not impose undisclosed fees through these Terms.

4. Scheduling, cancellations, and refunds

Appointment windows are estimates and may shift due to emergency calls, weather, or job conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of delays. Completion estimates may also change because of access issues, parts availability, or safety conditions.

Emergency service is available 24/7. Emergency dispatch fees and after-hours rates, where applicable, are disclosed before work begins. Dispatch and arrival remain subject to availability and safe access.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, contact us as early as possible at 206-482-4644 or 253dispatch@gmail.com. Cancellation charges, special-order commitments, and deposit refund conditions must be disclosed and accepted in advance. Refund eligibility depends on the work performed, the applicable agreement, and legal rights. Contact us about billing concerns so we can review them.

These Terms do not restrict a legally applicable cancellation or refund right.

5. Property access and customer responsibilities

Provide safe access to the equipment, accurate information about known problems, and permission from the property owner or authorized representative where needed. Secure pets and clear the immediate work area. Tell us about known hazards, restricted access, and relevant building rules.

We may pause work when conditions are unsafe or access is unavailable. We will explain the issue and discuss next steps. Further charges require the applicable prior agreement or additional authorization.

6. Permits and required disclosures

Responsibility for arranging permits, inspections, and related charges will be identified in the project agreement. Work must comply with applicable requirements and be performed by appropriately authorized persons.

We provide required customer disclosures separately when applicable. These website Terms do not replace a statutory contractor disclosure, permit, inspection, or project-specific contract.

7. Equipment, warranties, and service concerns

Workmanship and equipment warranties, where offered, are stated in your written estimate or service agreement and are subject to their terms. Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer's applicable conditions. These Terms do not create an additional fixed warranty period or remove warranties or remedies provided by law.

Except as expressly provided, our website and its content, including Ask Relay responses, are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This website disclaimer does not limit warranties expressly provided for contracted work or legal rights that cannot be waived.

Maintenance and repairs cannot guarantee that aging equipment will remain free of unrelated failures. Contact us promptly with service concerns and provide reasonable access for assessment. No provision here excuses negligent work or eliminates nonwaivable customer rights.

8. Maintenance plans

A maintenance plan is governed by the enrollment agreement, including covered equipment, included visits, exclusions, price, billing frequency, renewal, and cancellation. Repairs, replacement parts, and emergency visits are included only if expressly listed.

Maintenance plans renew automatically according to the renewal period and billing terms disclosed and accepted at enrollment. Recurring charges require authorization.

To cancel, contact us as early as possible at 206-482-4644 or 253dispatch@gmail.com. We will confirm receipt and the cancellation effective date. Any notice deadline, treatment of prepaid fees, or remaining contractual obligation must be disclosed in the enrollment agreement and comply with applicable law. We will not impose an undisclosed cancellation fee.

A general website description does not replace the accepted plan terms.

9. Ask Relay and website information

Ask Relay is an AI-powered assistant that may produce incomplete or incorrect answers. Its responses and general website content are informational and are not a technician's diagnosis, a binding quote, a confirmed appointment, or authorization for work unless confirmed by us.

Do not rely on the chatbot for emergency response or instructions to bypass equipment safeguards. For immediate danger, contact emergency services or the appropriate utility. For service decisions, contact our team.

10. Text and email communications

Where consent is required, we obtain it before sending the applicable messages. Service texts may include scheduling and job updates. Promotional messaging requires the applicable separate consent, and agreeing to promotional messages is not required to purchase services.

Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for assistance. You may also contact us directly, and we honor other reasonable opt-out requests. One nonpromotional confirmation may follow an opt-out. Message delivery depends on carrier and network availability; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Use the unsubscribe option in marketing emails or contact us to stop them. Necessary nonmarketing emails about services or billing may continue. Providing a phone number alone does not establish promotional consent.

11. Privacy and customer submissions

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling, including Google Analytics, Ask Relay, booking, and payment-related processing. It is available on our website or by contacting us.

Submit only information and materials you are authorized to provide. Sending a job photo or private feedback does not automatically authorize public marketing use. We obtain permission before using identifiable customer photos, property photos, or testimonials in marketing.

12. Website use and outside providers

Do not attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content, impersonate another person, or disrupt the website. We may restrict website access to address misuse or security concerns.

Our original website materials and branding belong to us or the relevant rights holders. You may use them to evaluate our services; other reuse requires permission unless permitted by law.

Independent services linked or embedded on the website may have separate terms. Their terms do not remove our obligations to you.

13. Responsibility and disputes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted website or chatbot availability. Responsibility for service-related loss is determined by the accepted agreement and applicable law. These Terms do not impose a blanket liability cap or waive liability for fraud, willful misconduct, negligence, personal injury, or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Contact us first with a dispute so we can seek a practical resolution. This request does not delay legal deadlines or prevent complaints to regulators or court claims. Washington law governs to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.

14. Changes and remaining provisions

We will post revised Terms when our practices change. Changes apply prospectively and do not alter an existing accepted project agreement without any required agreement. We obtain renewed acceptance where required.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
